Frank C. Angell House Wedding by Massart Photography, a Rhode Island studio focusing on wedding, maternity, newborn, and family portraiture.
You often hear wedding photographers complain when a bride and groom-to-be bring a mother to their consultation but personally, BRING ALL THE MOMS! Earning a mom’s trust and building a rapport is so important. People often ask me if I have a lot of bridezillas and I can honestly tell you that in over 200 weddings I have photographed, I have not had a single one. Is it because my clients are awesome? YUP. I also have to pat myself on the back for doing everything I can to make sure my clients know I am here for them and no matter what happens, we will roll with the punches and have fun while doing it.
Anyway, all this to tell you that by the time I arrived to the bride and her mom, the videographer asked me if we knew each other? Well, yeah… I adore my clients duh… but there was/is something special about this family and I think you will see it in their images. Manuel is so loved, not only by Mikayla but by her whole family. The bride and groom chose to get married at Mikayla’s childhood home, which was also her mom’s childhood home; how special is that? The way they turned a residential home into the most whimsical wedding venue (Frank C. Angell House) was so incredibly impressive. I’m obsessed with their whole look, from Mikayla’s timelessly elegant curls and stunning wedding gown to Manuel’s sharp suit, these two belong on a magazine cover. Their whole Frank C. Angell House wedding day was so perfectly planned out and I adored getting the honor of being a part of it!

Audrey
