OCEANCLIFF RESORT WEDDINGS BY MASSART PHOTOGRAPHY, A RHODE ISLAND STUDIO FOCUSING ON WEDDING, MATERNITY, NEWBORN, AND FAMILY PORTRAITURE.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings at Ocean Cliff Resort several times. With it being one of my favorite venues, I decided to make a post to highlight some favorite moments.

This particular couple was really really hoping for a sunset portrait but alas, the sun was nowhere to be found. By using artificial light and a colored gel, they got just what they wanted!
The following five weddings all had something in common: a first look. I promise this post isn’t about pushing first looks, this is purely coincidental. A first look allows the couple more time for portraits BEFORE the ceremony. It’s also an intimate moment they get to share. By doing this, these couples were able to knock out the formals early and get portraits both before AND after the ceremony, which in some cases, allows for sunset images!

The upstairs room at the Gate House is the perfect place for a more private moment as the bride gets into her gown

Don’t have access to the Gate House? No problem, the hotel rooms are stunning!

The open space is perfect for a first look for the bride and her closest ones!
I love the archway for SO many reasons. It can be the perfect backdrop for a masculine portrait just as well as it turns romantic when flooded with sunlight, as you will see below!

The archway is the perfect spot for a first look and for formals!
The lawn is perfectly set up for your wedding ceremony

That’s what memory tables are about.

The ballroom always makes for such magical reception images

I absolutely love the Gate House at Ocean Cliff Resort! I can’t help but use this wall and chair every time I visit!
gical
I just love Ocean Cliff’s location in relation to the sun. The way it wraps around the subjects and the way it floods the ballroom is simply magical

The staff at Ocean Cliff does a spectacular job of setting up!

Priceless moment.
That’s a wrap for this gorgeous Rhode Island venue!
