Wedding photographers RI; Jen and Heather’s Harbor Lights wedding

Massart Photographers capture a Harbor Lights wedding
Wedding Photography in RI, CT, MA
Even a severe thunderstorm at Harbor Lights Marina and Golf Course couldn’t get Jen and Heather’s spirits down. They knew that only one thing truly mattered….that they are in love and were going to have a wedding! We absolutely love shooting there and since Jen and Heather put the poor weather aside and focused on the positives, it made their day all the more special. From beginning to end, they went with the flow and the end result was a perfect day even if the weather wasn’t. Enjoy 🙂
I love the simplistic wedding dress in the simplistic bathroom.
Seriously, can all of our brides get ready in Jen and Heather’s bathroom?!?!

We sort of pressured Jen into some bridal portraits and I’m so glad we did 😉
We love that Jen and Heather were all about the natural candid moments, especially when it came time to capturing the ring bearers!
Heather and Jen’s babies had to be included in the wedding day photos!
I love this candid moment; as a mother, I know I would treasure this <3
Today is Someday was Jen and Heather’s “theme” <3
Heather was about to arrive so Jen wasn’t off the hook with us yet for more portraits in that beautiful window light!
How sweet are these three? Best bridal party attire in my opinion!
Watching the bride arriving
Using this red barn for the first look was all Jen and Heather’s idea, I think it’s just too cute!
Sorry ladies but we had to include this one to show just how perfect you are for each other 🙂
First looks really are so special, more intimate and less rushed 😉
One of my favorite spots at Harbor Lights!
We got to the dock for some portraits and it got SOOOOO windy! The girls were such troopers!
Ok my second favorite Harbor Lights spot is that beautiful shell pathway!
Jen and Heather made our jobs SO extremely easy by being incredibly natural! We had SUCH a blast during their photos!
First photo by me, second photo by Seth from the ground! He usually accuses me of laying down on the job! No seriously, I love that we can shoot together and get different angles.
This is where the wedding ceremony was supposed to take place had it not been a storm so it was a must to get some portraits there too!
Not only did their ceremony get moved but so did the reception and down the drain (pun intended) went their planning of tent partying and outdoor bathrooms! Jen and Heather could have been disappointed and complained but they embraced it all and thought it would be fun to get a photo with those darn useless bathrooms! What’s better than 1 down to earth laid back bride? 2!
I usually am more drawn to muted soft colors yet I absolutely adored the fun wedding bouquets!
So much fun was had!
We loved Heather’s unique wedding dress and we couldn’t have her be left out of bridal portraits!
We had JUST enough time to catch a few formals before…
The rain!!!! As you can see, the girls were really angry and let it put a damper on things!!!
Heather and Jen wanted portraits in a vanity fair style so that’s what we aimed for! We hope you like it ladies, we had fun doing this!
There weren’t many dry eyes in the room during the ceremony <3
Their vows were beautiful and we adore the window light at Harbor Lights!
Someday is here!
Always on the same page 😉
We knew that Heather and Jen weren’t having a first dance on their own so we really wanted to capture them dancing in the beautiful light privately.
I love this bride and mother moment <3
Speeches by the maids of honor
These ladies introduced Jen and Heather so capturing this moment was extra meaningful!
I like to try to find ways to use throw away photos!
Soul Train lineup? Yes please!

Congratulations ladies, we couldn’t be more thrilled and honored to have been with you on your big day!!!
