Wedding Photographers RI; Lisa and Eric’s Blithewold Wedding

Massart Photographers Capture a Blithewold Wedding
Wedding photography in RI, CT, MA
We knew we were in trouble when Lisa and Eric’s wedding consultation ended in our house with multiple glasses of wine and sure enough, it was all downhill from there! (I mean that as the biggest compliment of course) When you know you know and there was no denying the fact that we were the perfect fit! There was such a strong connection and they took that leap of faith! Oh wait, am I reading the script from The Batchelor or is this real life? lol I’m a bit delirious from the craziness of this season sorry! Anyway, we love them blah blah blah but aside from that, the cherry on the cake was that their wedding was at Blithewold which remains one of my all time favorite locations with its picturesque but natural backdrops. It’s evident in the photos but if you couldn’t tell, we had a blast with them as expected! Lisa and Eric, thank you for everything and I know we will be seeing more of you soon 🙂
xoxoxo,
Audrey & Seth
Those shoes!!!! Showing her wedding glow before putting on that wedding dress!
The bride getting in her dress with her favorite girls is always one of my favorite moments to capture.
A few bridal portraits before heading out!
Lisa is cool and all but I would describe her wedding day look as glamorous and elegant, not boho-chic-vintage-let-me-hop-in-a-field! I was over the moon when she agreed to hop a fence to trespass into a field of grass! ?
We met Eric (Gasbarro!) and the groomsmen on Federal Hill for some manly portraits and more than a few good laughs! Seth might or might not have told anyone we encountered that he was the attorney general… ?
Blithewold’s archway is the perfect spot for a first look even with early afternoon sun!
Yes, there are actually little butterflies fluttering around them ?
Bride and dad see each other 🙂
A few wedding party formals
And it’s time for the ceremony!
We battled some extremely harsh light BUT I think it’s a bit whimsical 🙂
Mr. and Mrs. Gasbarro!
I’m always a mad woman right after the ceremony, pushing people to sneak through as I find this particular moment to be so full of emotion. The bride and groom greet their loved ones.
That bamboo field is freaking amazing! We had planned on setting up some off camera flash but the perfect stream of light peaked through and allowed us a few more minutes to hurry and finish portraits with natural light. There just is never enough time to do Blithewold justice!
I’m sure they wont mind if I just build a treehouse and move into the gardens?!
When Seth saw the cake he looked very concerned and then he whispered to me “why is the cake missing frosting!?!?” ? He clearly isn’t in with the times…
I have an idea… I’m going to start bringing in twinkle lights so we can have them at every venue we shoot.
