A PROVIDENCE LIBRARY WEDDING BY MASSART PHOTOGRAPHY, A RHODE ISLAND STUDIO FOCUSING ON WEDDING, MATERNITY, NEWBORN, HEADSHOTS, AND FAMILY PORTRAITURE.
I can’t tell you how honored I am to have been chosen to capture Michael and Jeremey’s wedding day. Michael has been working in the wedding industry for years and told me I was their only choice. Cue the chills! They treated me with so much kindness from start to finish that I must admit, I had to chuckle when reading that Michael was referred to as a “bridezilla” on their wedding website 😆 Clearly, it was a joke because, in my experience, it couldn’t be further from the truth. Their Providence Library wedding was spectacular… one for the books (pun intended!) I hope you enjoy seeing their wedding day through these images, as much as I enjoyed capturing and retouching them!
Their Love Story
On their first date, the two met for cocktails at the Magdalenae Room and once both agreed that the date was going well, decided to grab dinner at a nearby restaurant. Walking back to their cars, Jeremey and Michael realized that they both parked outside the Providence Public Library – right behind each other. Since that night, they became inseparable going on to moving in together, planning vacations with one another, and extending their family to adopting another pug.
On a warm September day several years later, Jeremey and Michael went to NYC to see a show together. After a few funny mishaps, the question was asked and they were officially engaged!
The two chose to get married at the serendipitous place where they met after their first date – the Providence Public Library.
Vendors
“From day one, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Jeremey. Working in the industry over the last 8 years has prepared me to create a mental list of everything I knew I’d want at my wedding. When starting the planning process, I knew exactly what vendors to use since I have seen their outstanding work time and time again.” Michael

xoxo,
- Thanks to my second shooter for assisting me with this four image composite. Michael and Jeremey killed the edgy vibe!
- I love when there’s extra greenery I can steal for detail images of the rings and wedding invitations!
- I was so thrilled when I learned that the grooms would be helping each other getting ready. Getting ready for your wedding is such a special time that I love capturing.
- Did you know that Aldo from Aldo’s formal will come to assist you in getting ready for your wedding?
- The natural light in the lobby is always so divine for formal portraits
- Of course, the staircase is a staple
- When the Biltmore was taken over by The Graduate, the lobby was transformed and I just love the use of colors
- How perfect are they in this edgy and fun portrait?
- These two are going to have a blast looking through their large amount of party photos! Michael said “We are most looking forward to throwing a great party for everyone to come together and enjoy each other! Majority of our families will be meeting for the first time and think what a great way to meet!” I’d say, mission accomplished!!!
Thank you for having me 🥰,
xoxo,
Audrey
