Wedding Photographers Warwick RI; Jenn and Tommy’s Warwick Aldrich Mansion Wedding

Massart Photographers capture an Aldrich Mansion Wedding
Wedding photography in RI, CT, MA
Take a stroll down memory lane with us to a time when you would get dressed in a tuxedo or ball gown (in this case a wedding dress!), get your photo taken, and go to Aldrich Mansion in beautiful Warwick Neck, Rhode Island for a weekend event. You would sip on libations, dine on a delicious meal, eat an amazing dessert, and then dance the night away to the sounds of a live band. Well, that’s exactly what this bride and groom recreated on September 4, 2016.
We came to be Jenn and Tommy’s photographers under your not so everyday occurrence. Let me explain; Jenn and Tommy had already booked a wedding photographer. A short while later, Jenn just couldn’t shake the feeling that she made a mistake not going with her heart. Jenn and Tommy then made the decision to have Massart Photography capture their special day. The rest is history and we are so happy with the way everything unfolded.
Pull up a chair and join us as we relive their elegant and whimsical day!
This furniture was Jenn’s parent’s first bedroom set and the photo on the wall is of Jenn’s mom on her wedding day. It holds even more of a special meaning because Jenn’s parents passed away when she was a young girl. The couple she calls mom and dad are actually her aunt and uncle but you would never know since they treat her exactly as if she was their own.
So much pretty!!!
So much masculinity!
Bowtie + cufflinks + suspenders + pocket square = being suave and also a Mr Fancy Pants!
A man’s man knows how to tie his own bowtie
This purse is really something special. It’s made out of fabric from not only both of Jenn’s mothers’ wedding dresses, but also her grandmother’s wedding dress. So amazing <3
Audrey took this photo for no reason other than she thought that it is adorable and that it would make a great Pinterest post! Good job Jenn and Tommy (but really just Jenn!)
Such pride and happiness in both of their faces. This perfectly shows that Jenn is their daughter and they are her mom and dad 🙂
Nice shot, Tommy!
Wait, what?? Yep, that’s the bride’s dad with his head in his hand. Yep, that’s the bride’s sister looking on in disbelief/confusion. Last but not least, yep, that’s the bride getting a little help staying cool from the fan that’s going up her dress. We love how classy yet real the bride is!
Jenn’s parents were definitely there in spirit
- When the bride’s veil flies, we take pictures first and ask if help is needed second!
- The wedding party
- Cuteness overload!
- When the light is this gorgeous, you make everyone get out of the way and you get shots of the bride!
- Flying veil part 2
- We loved Jenn’s mom and dad! Audrey is such an old soul that she could have talked to them all night long. Which is a complete role reversal since it’s usually me that never stops talking….or typing!
- Strike a pose for this vogue-type shot
- The bride and groom’s sense of humor really made it easy to get natural shots of them.
- This is what we call a “controlled” veil flight!
- Golden light and Aldrich Mansion in the background? So whimsical and elegant 🙂
- Live music always sets the mood
- The details of a wedding are so important to us because we feel that they help tell the full story of the day
- Mr and Mrs Beaulieu!
- The first dance is always such an emotional moment
- The band rocked the house!
- The father/daughter and mother/son dance always catches everyone right in the feels
- You know what else catches everyone in the feels? The dessert spread that the staff at Aldrich Mansion puts out!
- The party really starts when the live band breaks out the glow sticks!
- We <3 ring shots
- The library is so cool that this time, we decided some creative light was necessary.
- A true testament to a great time is when we have plenty of dancing shots and our night is done but the party is still kicking! Jenn and Tommy, you guys sure know how to throw a party!
