Massart Photography Captures a Newport, Rhode Island Wedding
Wedding Photographers RI, MA, CT
We met Jamie and Ryan through Mike and Mariely Siravo, one of our 2016 wedding couples. (Remember their Providence G wedding??) Ryan was one of Mike’s groomsmen and we were thrilled that they got engaged and gave us a call!
They are two of the most intriguing people we’ve ever met. They just have that certain something…what is it the French (or Belgians!) say…je ne sais quoi! Jamie is a lovely, sweet school teacher who loves to have a good time. (She twirled her tulle dress every time she was moving like a fairy!). Ryan is a veteran…thank you for your service! He is also a motorcycle riding electrician…SORT of a tough looking guy at first glance but is actually a big softy at heart. (Should we not give that away?) Their love for each other was so evident on their wedding day…mostly because they couldn’t keep their hands off each other! No not in THAT way…get your heads out of the gutter! They were very lovey dovey and sort of googly-eyed with each other. Absolutely adorable to watch!
They are also super laid back people. One of the groomsmen forgot his shirt at home. Not only did they not rag on him (he felt TERRIBLE as it was), but they told him to not worry about it. Of course it helped that someone was bringing it, but it threw the timeline off a little bit. And with that said, we can’t forget to mention how wonderful everyone was to work with at Castle Hill. There were a few things that didn’t go exactly as planned but they rolled with it, kept us fully in the loop and made it work seamlessly without altering the bride and groom’s day at all.
We also have to give a shoutout to the families of the bride and groom! Both the Burkes (Ryan’s family) and the Floods (Jamie’s family) were wonderful to work with! The Flood family (of the Flood car dealerships) welcomed us into their home to photograph the bride and her bridal party getting ready. They were down to earth, easy to talk to and really made us feel like part of their family. Thank you for your hospitality!
We want to wish this couple all the happiness in the world! Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day! Congratulations Jamie and Ryan!
